Job Listing: BIOTECH PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR

One of the leaders in the Biotech industry has an opportunity for a Biotech Production Supervisor.

Job Purpose:
Provide direct, hands-on supervision to all direct reports as well as ensure quality execution of all SOP's within the cGMP facility.

This position is also responsible to guide the activities of direct reports and daily work assignments, trouble shoot and problem solve personnel and equipment issues as needed.

This position is a working supervisor position and will be responsible for the completion of all daily work assignments as needed due to volume or workload.

Key Responsibilities:
Provide leadership and strategic and daily guidance to all personnel assigned and responsible and accountable for all activities and outcomes of assigned personnel and promote continuous process improvement.
Develop SOP's for efficient use of resources.
Work within a cross functional team environment to achieve goals and ensure client satisfaction.
Assist in coaching and developing staff and complete Performance Management for assigned staff.


Required Skills

Requirements:
BS/BA degree preferably in technical discipline (e.g. Manufacturing Engineer or Biology).
Minimum of 5 years experience in a pharmaceutical or biotech manufacturing environment.
Minimum 5 years supervisory experience in a directly related field preferably with expertise in cross functional team environment.
Thorough understanding of cGMP requirements.
Excellent leadership skills and ability to work across organization.
Detail Oriented.
Strong organizational skills and multitasking.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrated high level of initiative and ability to work independently.
Excellent Computer Skills.
