Volt Services Group is seeking a Logistics Supervisor for a worldwide company that specializes in the integration of all functions across the supply chain, from sourcing of raw materials through product manufacturing to the distribution of finished goods. The Logistics Supervisor will supervise daily floor warehousing operations. The operations are based on a LEAN operating system and expectations of the successful candidate to be to instill and cultivate a lean, continuous improvement culture based on the lean principles.
Responsibilities include:
Lead and coach a cross functional team ensuring training objectives are met; Ensure safety and audit SOPs regularly; Identify and lead continuous improvement projects. Maintain open and effective communication with Management and Customers; Daily production, reporting of metrics on a daily and month basis and continuously improving the processes.

Required Skills
College Degree or 3-5 years supervisory experience in a production or warehousing environment (lean concepts a plus)
Entrepreneurial mindset, with advanced problem solving skills
Advanced in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Access is bonus)
Excellent organizational and communication skills
WMS experience preferred
