Job Listing: Materials Handler

Aerotek Commercial has an immediate opportunity with an exciting company in Orangeburg, SC. This position is with a well established, well known company, and is paying 9/hr.

JOB DESCRIPTION
-Adjust inventory using Telenex gun to scan Material bar code labels
-Preparation of outbound/inbound load documents and ASN submittals
-Collect and band dunnage
-Perform dock audits on shipments
-Distribute inbound freight to the proper location
-Load outbound freight according to shipping documents
-Stock workstations with proper parts
-Must be able to stand, bend, twist, push, pull, reach and grasp continuously
-Must be Able to Prioritize Work Load
-Must be Able to Communicate with others in an effective manner
-Must be able to complete and read shipping labels
-Must be able to operate a Forklift and complete all safety requirements.
-Must practice good housekeeping
-Able to Work Overtime based on customer needs
-Assist in other areas as needed, including line positions

EXPERIENCE/ EDUCATION
High School Diploma or GED equivalency, some college preferred
Prior knowledge of Shipping and Receiving REQUIRED

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
Prior shipping and receiving experience preferred
Self-motivated and able to work well without supervision
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Strong team skills and the ability to work and get along well with others
Computer skills in Microsoft Word and Excel
Excellent Attendance Record
Ability to Work Any Shift
