Entry Level Software Tester

Our client, a leader in avionics and aircraft instrumentation, seeks two entry level software testers to join their team.

On a day to day basis, this position will be responsible for testing software that will be used to operate avionic systems and aircraft instrumentation. There will also be subsequent paperwork due to the regulations in the aviation industry.

To be considered for one of these positions, candidates must have a BS in Computer Science or Computer Engineering. Must be willing to work overtime (sometimes up to 80 hours a week, weekends included). Ideal candidates will have 1-2 years of experience, but will consider candidates with a degree and no experience. Candidates need to have either embedded C or C++ experience.

To be considered for this position, candidates should have some exposure to the following:

-Structural Coverage Analysis

-DO-178B

-Military experience

-Work in a regulated (FDA, FAA, etc.) environment

-Code Analysis – Write Procedures

-Requirements based training

-Requirement testing

-Traceability

-Avionics Testing

-Rational real time test

-Structural coverage analysis

-Software Test

-Embedded Software Test

-C, C++
