Job Listing: Tool-Model Maker

TOOL-MODEL SPECIALIST
SECOND SHIFT POSITION: 2:00pm-10:30pm

Constructs precision prototype parts and models from raw stock materials. Assembles mock-ups to simulate new product appearance. Interfaces with engineering on the feasibility of design of machined, molded and cast parts and assemblies. Works from blueprints and sketches, and receives verbal and written instructions. Designs and constructs tools, molds, jigs, and fixtures for assembly and manufacturing needs to meet production schedules and objectives. Job requires significant creativity, ingenuity and mastery of skills in area of specialization. Applies detailed knowledge of products, processes and people. Regularly adapts current PC applications, procedures, techniques, tools, materials and/or equipment to meet special needs.A.A./A.S. degree + 5 years related experience.
