Job Listing: Model Maker

A model making company in North County San Diego is currently hiring for the position of model maker. Prior model making experience is required. Additionally, qualified candidates will possess the following skills and experience:

Experience using an injection mold machine

Experience with fabricating parts

Knowledge of conventional or CNC machines, particularly mills and lathes

Experience with painting models

Supervisory experience a plus, but not necessary

This position requires the ability to disassemble the models, finish the parts, then reassemble according to a drawing and paint the fully assembled model. The company will consider individuals with a machining or fixturing background, as well as those with a composite background.
