Job Listing: BUSINESS ANALYST/DATA ANALYST

A large communications company has an immediate need for a Business Analyst/Data Analyst. Responsible for assisting in the implementation, communication, and enforcement of standards across IT, working with users in the development community. Defines and documents data requirements as the foundation for database design, data extraction, analysis or cleansing. May help determine and document data mapping rules for movement of data between applications or for population of new databases. May work with application clients to populate repositories and increase the metadata inventory. Supports Sr. Data Analyst in data selection, extraction, and cleansing for corporate applications, including data warehouse and data marts. Uses modeling and data analysis tools as well as ER and dimensional modeling techniques. May also create data flow diagrams and process models. This position is 50 % Business Analyst and 50 % Data analyst. The candidate should have 2 years previous Business analyst/requirements experience and should have experience with DB2/AS400 and or MS SQL server and ASP.net . This position will require interfacing with business clients and implement rate plans and structures in the billers . Should have good sql skills to provide research support for business . Should have the ability to quickly learn/comprehend new processes, Systems and Methods .Excellent interpersonal, multitasking, prioritization ,planning and communication skills .Strong analytical skills, attention to detail , problem analysis and resolution capabilities

MUST HAVE PREVIOUS WIRELINE OR WIRELESS EXPERIENCE
