Job Listing: Lab Tech

Aerotek Scientific has an exciting opportunity as a Lab Tech for a company located in Carmel, IN. It is a Monday-Friday 1st shift position. Please see the job description and requirements below. All interested candidates are encouraged to apply!

DESCRIPTION:

The lab tech will be working in a Physical Testing Lab. He or she will be testing rubbers, polymers, and adhesives, mixing compounds, and performing compression testing. The individual will be working with equipment such as instroms and mixers (specifically screw mixers). The lab tech is not the decision maker rather they need to be able to provide strong reports that will be passed on to the decision makers.

REQUIREMENTS:

- Must have prior working experience within a lab.
- Must be comfortable working with computers.
- Effective written communication skills to provide adequate reports and documentation.
- High school diploma or GED; Associate's Degree in science-related field is highly preferred.
