Job Title: Aircraft Quality Control Inspector

Specific Job Description:

(FGE is one grade above the class that performs the work being inspected.)

The inspector implements quality control and safety plans to ensure compliance with contract specifications and applicable regulations, inspects all phases of a variety of goods, services or operation for conformity to established quality, health and safety, and other operational standards by performing on-going work for compliance with contractual provisions; ensures all services listed on the performance requirement summary are performed in a satisfactory manner, specifies areas to be inspected (scheduled and unscheduled) and how often inspections will be accomplished, communicates deficiencies to proper persons, maintains Quality Control files, and document results of all inspections.
Minimum Requirements:

Must have ten plus years experience in US Army aviation as a quality control inspector (QC OIC/NCOIC). Candidate must be a graduate of ANOC or Officers advanced training. Must have firm knowledge of DA PAM 738-751, FM 4.3-500 and associated regulations, technical directives and Technical Bulletins. Must be able to pass and extensive background investigation. Must be able to acquire computer access. Failure to gain computer access may be result in release from duty. Candidate must have UH-60, AH-64, CH-47 and OH-58D experience or knowledge.



Continual Per Diem and Mileage Reimbursement will be paid at Joint Travel Regulation Rates and/or Contract Rates when authorized
