Job Listing: Mainframe (Cobol, CICS) Programmer

TEKsystems is seeking a Mainframe Programmer for a 3 month contract supporting the State of Maryland.

Job Functions:
Designs, develop, test and implement complex application software’s in accordance with specifications. Participates in analysis problem-solving process and discussions with Staff and agency personnel to clarify and resolve the problems. Document business and technical requirements. Deliver related technical documentation.

Job Qualifications/ Requirements:
2+ years hands-on experience in a Mainframe (COBOL, CICS, DB2, JCL) environment. This is a primarily a transactional environment. So COBOL and CICS are the primary skills.

Required Software Knowledge:
COBOL , CICS

This is a 3 month contract that pays $30/hr.
