Job Listing: Microbiologist

Aerotek Scientific is currently seeking a Microbiologist to work with our client in Lincolnton, NC. The qualified Microbiologist will have 2-5 years of relevant experience and a BA or BS in Microbiology.

The Microbiologist's duties are as follows:

- Routine microbiological testing of samples to support plant operations
- Environmental monitoring and microbial limit testing
- Preservative challenge testing and antibiotic assay testing
- Generation of summary reports with test results
- Calibration, validation and preventative maintenance of equipment
- Classification, storage and preparation of microbiological media
- Disposal of laboratory waste
- Assist in process validation studies
- Other duties as assigned by Manager
