Job Listing: Senior Java/Eclipse Developer/Architect

TEKsystems has an immediate opening for a Senior Level Java / J2EE Developer/Architect with specific experience Designing and Developing complex Customized Eclipse Plug-Ins for a large software IT firm located in Rancho Cordova.

This individual must have prior experience designing and developing complex, highly customized Eclipse Plug-Ins from the ground up. Not just utilizing, modifying, or consuming them - but rather actually designing and developing them from scratch. This individual must also have specific experience developing in the event-system-side of Eclipse.

This project will involve creating and customizing highly complex custom Eclipse Plug-Ins for Java/J2EE Enterprise-grade, Web-Based application environment. The two primary features the client is looking for is OR Mapping and Cashing for these Plug-In behaviors. Event Notification, the hooking-in of listeners, event-system-side programming, SWT (Windows GUI components), and from-scratch creation of highly customized Plug-Ins will be involved in this project.

This project is initially slated for a duration of 4-6+ months, will extensions possible based on performance and experience. This project is exclusively on-site in Rancho Cordova, no telecommuting. The start date is flexible, but the client would like someone to begin work as soon as possible. TEKsystems is not able to pay for any relocation nor travel time - billable hours only.
