Our client, a non-profit agency has provided services to New Mexicans with disabilities for over 30 years. The Retail Sales Manager will be responsible for the overall vision, direction and marketing of the Thrift Store operations in Belen and Los Lunas. This position is engaged in effectively marketing, selling general lines of merchandise, managing new merchandise inventory, promotions, advertising, floor displays, cost of goods sold and net income realized from sales. The position coordinates sales promotions activities and works with the Store Manager on merchandise displays that will optimize gross sales and stimulate customer appeal.

Required Skills
The successful candidate will possess an Associates Degree in Retail Sales or related field. Must have a minimum of five (5) years experience in retail sales, merchandising and Thrift Store operations. Must have expertise in customer service, process improvement, budgeting and the desire to support people with disabilities. One (1) year supervisory experience required.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS: Must pass background/fingerprint investigation and pre-employment drug screening, possess a valid NM driver's license and proof of auto liability insurance. Must have own reliable transportation and agency insurable driving record. Must be available to work weekends if necessary. Must be able to occasionally travel out of state to attend merchandising trade shows. Must be able to lift and move 50 pounds.
