WHAT HAPPENS NEXT?
Your resume and supporting documentation will be compared to your responses to the Assessment Questionnaire. The questionnaire is designed to capture the desired knowledge, skills, and abilities for this position. The evaluation you receive is based on your responses to the questionnaire and is a measure of the degree to which your background matches the knowledge, skills, and abilities required of this position.

SCREEN-OUT ELEMENT: Your qualifications will first be evaluated against the prescribed screen out element, which usually appears as question 1 in the on-line questionnaire. Those applicants who appear to possess at least the minimal acceptable qualification requirement are considered for further rating; those who do not are rated ineligible and are eliminated. The potential eligibles are then rated against the remainder of the questions. Physical effort and work conditions:
You will be required to work in confined areas in and around air handlers, pumps, motors, and refrigeration machinery. the work requires moderate to strenuous effort and long periods of walking, climbing, crouching and bending. Physical efort may include squeezing into and crawling through tight spaces for a limited amount of time as well as working on top of and climbing on equipment. Workers frequently carry equipment and supplies weighing up to 40 pounds unassisted, occasionally items weighing over 40 pounds with the assistance of weight-lifting equipment and/or other workers. Supervisory roles may also include working at a desk for long periods of time; this may include filing, writing and computer data entry.
You will perform duties in a modern plant and facility. There is continuous noise from equipment and machinery. You may be required to work in confined spaces, climb ladders and scaffolding, stand for extended periods of time, excessive walking and crawling may be required. You will be expected to work outside in inclement weather when necessary and work on or near high temperature machinery and equipment. Workers are subject to dirty, greasy and wet work environments. Workers are also subject to handling and working around chemical feed systems and may come in contact with water treatment chemicals which could cause burns from caustics and acids. workers are also subject to cuts, abrasions and burns while working around equipment.
