Major Duties

Tour of Duty:  Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Sitting, bending, stretching, walking and lifting are required.
Major duties and responsibilities include:

Receives, intakes, scans, archives, destroys, transfers and releases health and administrative patient information
Interfaces with personal computer applications as well as numerous software applications
Pulls and retrieves medical records
Files medical and administrative documents
Requests records
Performs other clerical duties
Performs special projects
Responsible for protecting data from unauthorized release or from loss, alteration or unauthorized deletion
Follows applicable laws and instructions regarding access to computerized files, access codes, etc.
