Job Listing: Inventory Control Manager

An electronic manufacturing company in Richardson is needing an Inventory Control Manager immediately.

You must have a Bachelors Degree and very strong computer skills. You need some MRP experience(MAS 200 would be a plus), Crystal Reports, and Access. It would be beneficial to have some financial background as well.

You will be handling the following duties:
- Ensures accurate and real-time accounting for inventory of materials and products in accord with inventory cycles and organizational philosophy.
- Ensures strict adherence to quality requirements for segregation, traceability, and proper storage of materials.
- Conducts on-going inventory analysis to solve inventory problems - must be capable of analyzing inventory variances.
- Systems background – MRP/MPS experience with ERP-type system work required (MAS 200 experience preferred), MS Office (especially Excel) required, ad-hoc report writing experience helpful; inventory forecasting experience a plus.
- Requires knowledge of inventory accounting GAAP rules and procedures.
- Leads efforts to improve profitability by identifying cost reduction opportunities, cost avoidance, and timely receipt of materials.
- Will train and manage an inventory team. Capable of directly supervising 5+ people.
- 5+ years progressive experience in inventory control or accounting; some cost accounting helpful.
