Job Listing: Meditech Systems Analysts

TEKsystems is seeking an experienced Systems Analyst with Meditech experience. This is a permanent position with an Austin Healthcare organization. Candidates must successfully complete a drug and background investigation.

*Responsible for the setup, maintenance and monitoring of Meditech modules and other assigned patient care systems.
*Analyzes data and input/output processes, makes recommendations and executes modifications to assigned modules and systems.
*Coordinates the development of policies and procedures related to documentation of patient care within assigned modules and systems.
*Collaborates with Directors of Nursing, Nurse Managers, Clinical Nurse Specialists, CNO, staff and other patient care partners to improve nursing documentation.
*Provides 1st and 2nd level customer support via telephone conversation and face-to-face interactions to users of assigned modules.

Requirements:
EDUCATION:
4-year degree in nursing (RN)
Preferred: Additional training & education in healthcare informatics and/or systems administration.

EXPERIENCE:
Required: Minimum 3 years of full time employment as a nurse in a hospital setting. Two or more years experience using an electronic patient care documentation system, preferably Meditech. Two years of providing telephone and direct clinical systems support or functioning in a clinical system “super user” role.

Preferred: Meditech RAD/Lab/Pharmacy or PCM Nursing experience
