Job Listing: Facilities CAD Operator

Our client, an engineering firm, is seeking an in-house CAD Operator to work in their Facilities Engineering and Planning Department.

POSITION DESCRIPTION
-The CAD Operator will be responsible for maintaining and upgrading "as-built" CAD building files.
-Assisting in the coordination of facilities modification, including the creation of furniture plans and specifications.
-Assisting department personal in the creation of architectural, electrical and mechanical construction document drawings.
-Maintain, trouble-shoot, and implement CAD software, software upgrades, network system and peripheral hardware components.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS
-The CAD Operator will hold an Associates or Bachelor's degree and have 5-7 years of experience in the field with architectural, electrical, or mechanical based projects.
-Must be able to read, understand, and produce construction documents.
-Must have experience with computer programs such as Microsoft Office, (Word, Excel, Project, Power Point) and CAD programs such as AutoCAD and /or DataCad.
-Must be proficient in the use of electronic filing systems in a PC network environment.
-Must be organized and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
