Job Listing: Special Inspector/ Tester

Aerotek Environmental & Engineering is currently seeking an ICC Special Inspector for their Portland Oregon based client. Our client is a nationwide engineering and construction materials testing firm.

Requirements of Special Inspector:
-2 years of experience testing
-National or state accreditation certifications such as ACI, NICET, or ICC are REQUIRED
-CWI certification is preferred but not required
-Valid/ current state driver's license


Ideal candidates will possess the following certs:

ICC Building Plans Examiner
ICC Commercial Mechanical Inspector
ICC Residential Structural Inspector
ICC Residential Mechanical Inspector
OIC Oregon Inspector Certification


Responsibilities of Special Inspector:
-Perform a variety of on-site quality control tests, inspections, and project-specific evaluations most often related to site grading, utility and foundation installation, concrete and masonry construction, structural steel and pre-cast erection, fireproofing, waterproofing, roofing and paving for construction projects.

Salary will be $16- $24 per hour based on experience.
