Job Listing: Designer

Aerotek Automotive has an immediate need for a designer. Qualified candidates should be well versed with the following.

1. Six years experience as an engineer or designer in the emergency, on-highway truck, off-highway truck, automotive, or agriculture industries.
2. Two years experience designing truck cab structure or automotive body structure.
3. Four years experience with 3D solid modeling (SolidWorks preferred, Pro/E, UG, CATIA, and IDEAS are also acceptable) creating layouts, assembly designs, part designs, and detail drawings.
4. Proficient in MS Office tools (Excel, Word, Project, Outlook, and PowerPoint).

Candidates must have some or all of the following experience;

1. Project management experience
2. Class A surfacing experience
3. Ergonomics/ human factors packaging experience
4. Experience designing exterior trim
5. Experience designing chassis systems
