Senior Analyst, Corporate Reporting & Analysis
Job Accountabilities:
- Involvement in the preparation of disclosures and analysis related to the client and subsidiaries registrants’ Form 10-Q’s/10-K’s
- Review of data requests sent by business units and corporate units and ability to identify and follow-up on any issues
- Interaction with business unit and corporate management
- Preparation of materials for investor relations/earnings release (earnings release package, Reg G schedules, etc)
- Perform analysis of financial results
- Involvement with regulatory reporting (e.g., FERC), as needed
- Research and documentation of significant accounting issues/conclusions, as needed
- Prepare updates of SOX control documentation, as needed
- Involvement in special projects, as needed
Minimum Requirements:
- 4 year degree in accounting
- Working knowledge of U.S. generally accepted accounting principles and SEC Rules and Regulations
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proven accounting, technical and analytical skills
- Ability to build and maintain productive working relationships at all levels within the organization
- Ability to meet tight deadlines and respond quickly to changing needs through a teamwork approach
- Self-motivated, with demonstrated ability to work independently
- 2 – 5 years relevant work experience
Desired:
- CPA
- Public accounting firm experience (preferred “Big 4”)
- Experience with Hyperion Financial Management and Peoplesoft systems
