We are looking to hire a Senior (Electrical) Proposal Specialist immediately!
Specific Responsibilities
Leads, develops, and organizes electrical cost calculations for proposals for Material Handling Conveyor systems. Review Customer Specifications/drawings for supply of integrated Parcel Conveyor Handling Systems. Assist business developers in client meetings to further define and explain the proposed system solution.
Also provides/reviews technical concept, preliminary project schedules, electrical design man hour estimates, material estimates, and vendor bid evaluations, technical clarifications, and risk assessment input.
Job requirements:
Identify electrical controls engineering deliverables/requirements.
Architect solution
Ability to communicate requirements with 3rd party vendors to determine correct solution.
Knowledgeable of Allen Bradley Controls/PLC platforms
Experienced in using Microsoft Office applications with emphasis on Excel.
Calculate effort required for delivering a turnkey system covering the following areas:
- Defining Functional Specifications
- System Design
- System Development / Customization
- Unit Testing
- Integration Testing
- Factory Acceptance Test
- Documentation
- Delivery
- Installation
- Commissioning with extensive Acceptance Testing Requirements
- Warranty support
- Project management & administration.
Identify and evaluate risks.
Prepare detailed proposal along with requirements, clarifications, assumptions, costs limitations and exclusions.
Acquire electrical controls engineering management approvals
Skills:
