Job Listing: Maintenance Technician

Aerotek Performance Resources is a national company that is currently seeking 6 (six) Maintenance Technicians to support our packaging and assembly operation in the Kings Mountain area.

This position is responsible for performing, maintenance and repair of
facilities and production equipment for the Kings Mountain site, including pneumatic hydraulic, controls, programmable logic controllers, PC hardware, bar code readers, drive motors, conveyors, mobile material handling equipment, and other manufacturing equipment.

Major Responsibilities/Authorities/Duties:
- Troubleshoot, maintain and repair automated High-speed equipment and
systems, including Poly carbonate Distribution Systems.
- Install, troubleshoot and repair electrical controls in compliance with the OEM specifications.
- Maintain and repair Injection Molding Equipment and its associated devices
- Install, maintain and repair all product processing machinery and related
equipment.
- In conjunction with Maintenance Supervisor, implement preventive maintenance program for equipment and machinery.
- Perform facilities routine maintenance and repair.
- Accomplish necessary documentation of maintenance activities and
procedures.
- Monitor and requisition via Maintenance Supervisor replacement parts and materials for routine maintenance.

Experience/Qualifications:
- Associate Degree, or equivalent experience and training, in an industrial or Mechanical Maintenance manufacturing role.
- Experience performing mechanical and electrical maintenance in an industrial setting, preferably with Injection Molding high speed operation is required.
- Ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair pneumatic, electrical and hydraulic equipment, and general knowledge of PLC driven machinery.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and electrical schematics.
- Ability to complete tasks within set priorities and to work independently with a minimum of direction.
