The Department of Defense Domestic Dependent Elementary and Secondary Schools (DDESS) is currently accepting applications under examining authority of 10 U.S.C., Section 2164, for position(s) in DDESS Fort Campbell Schools. This vacancy announcement may be used for the purpose of filling multiple temporary, intermittent positions.
The purpose of this position is to provide an intermittent Educational Aide when the regular Aide is out to relieve the classroom teacher in the performance of nonprofessional routine duties to the care and instruction of students.
To qualify for consideration, applicants must submit the following documents.

1. Application for Employment with DDESS. A resume describing work experience may be attached to application as long as it contains all the “Work Experience” information requested on the DDESS application. (i.e.; Job Title, From/To Dates, Salary, Hours per week, Employers Name, and Supervisor’s name and phone number.) Resumes received without the required, Application for Employment with DDESS document will not be considered.
2. If applicant is using education to qualify a photocopy of all Official college/university transcripts (front and back) with announcement number stated on them must be submitted. To receive the maximum allowable credit you must include all transcripts (front and back) for each degree earned to include any additional courses currently in progress. Any transcripts submitted that are not in English will be removed from the application and will not be considered. (Transcripts must be in English.)
4. Applicants claiming 5-point veteran’s preference must submit a copy of DD-214 (copy member 4 required), Certificate of Release or Discharge from Active Duty. Applicants claiming 10-point veteran’s preference must submit DD-214 and Standard Form 15, http://www.opm.gov/forms/pdf_fill/SF15.pdf. Application for 10-Point Preference, as well as the required documentation indicated on the SF-15. LACK OF REQUIRED SUPPORTING DOCUMENTATION WILL RESULT IN THE AGENCY’S INABILITY TO RECOGNIZE VETERAN STATUS FOR THIS ANNOUNCEMENT – ONLY REQUIRED SUPPORTING DOCUMENTATION AS INDICATED ON THE SF-15 WILL BE CONSIDERED.

Must possess 6 months of general experience which consists of progressively responsible clerical, office, or other work that indicates ability to acquire the particular knowledge and skills needed to perform the duties of the position to be filled.
SUBSTITUTION FOR EXPERIENCE: Successful completion of 1 year of study above high school, which have been obtained in an accredited business, secretarial or technical school, junior college, college or university.
