Job Listing: Site Safety Manager

International Construction Management firm is currently seeking a Site Safety Coordinator with over 2 years of experience for their Las Vegas Operations.

This Site Safety Coordinator will be reporting to the Site Safety Manager. The Site Safety Coordinator will be working on projects on the Las Vegas Strip. This is an immediate and permanent opportunity.

Job duties include, but not limited to:

- Review history of accidents and claims, and prepares reports and recommendations as required.
- Coordinate safety of the project as a whole and provides stimulus for proactive loss control efforts.
- Review reports and presents corrective actions for specific situations identified by outside agencies.
- Participate in accident investigations.
- Prepare written report (Loss Control Survey) of findings.
- Responsible for maintaining and updating the safety manual and insuring subcontractors posses the most recent copy.
- Responsible for providing needed support to Site Safety Manager’s.
- Assist in the development and implementation of standardized Safety Programs.
- Coordinate, develop and /or conduct safety training.
- Review subcontractor safety program to assure compliance with project safety standards.
- Coordinate and insures the proper level of training for subcontractors.
- Coordinate with worker’s compensation to insure an effective post accident back to work program.
- Other duties may be required.

Requirements:

- Associates Degree in Safety Management required, Bachelors Degree strongly preferred.
- Minimum of two years of verifiable construction safety experience.
- Ability to attain approval by Nevada OSHA to be safety representative of a Las Vegas OCIP program.
- 1+ years of safety experience for a General Contractor or Construction Management Firm.
- Experience on High rise projects.
- Only local candidates will be considered at this time.
