Job Listing: Construction Project Manager (PMP)

A major supplier of logistics and factory automation systems is looking to hire a Sr. level (Certified PMP) Project Manager immediately!

The candidate will be responsible for directing full scope of extremely large and complex Material Handling System projects. Conceptualizing strategic project opportunities. Conceiving project management design approach (defining scheduling, budget, risk, change, opportunity and resource management activities) for strategic projects. Directing the technical review of system design and documentation. Conceptualizing continuous improvement opportunities and strategic project expansion opportunities. Cultivating client opportunities and high level relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

Preempting potential problems and provides effective solutions in reaction to application of concepts, techniques, knowledge, or processes. Displaying an expert level of critical thinking in applying principles, theories, and concepts on a wide range of problems. Fully responsible for full scope management on the project, to include change order and claim management.

Education:

Typically advanced degree in related discipline. PMP Certification is a must.

Knowledge and Experience:

Demonstrates ability to advance technologies, processes, and practices in area of specialization or discipline. Serves as the leading point of authority and/or source of technical/scientific knowledge for area of expertise. Demonstrates extensive knowledge of organizations business practices and issues faced and contributes to problem resolution of those issues.

Ten+ years of successful experience as a project manager in the Material Handling System or Construction General Contractor industries on medium to large size projects (>$40).

Traveling will be required.
