Job Listing: Controls Software Engineer

Our client is an electrical engineering and software design firm dedicated to provide technical solutions, such as warehouse conveyor control systems, PC and plc programming for automated manufacturing, material handling, and high speed distribution equipment suppliers, integrators and corporations. They are looking for a Controls Software Engineer to design software that will control automated material handling equipment in real-time.

The software will be based off of the specific electrical and mechanical design of the system. This work will also involve the design of HMI screens and software to communicate with other software programs such as WMS or host computers TCP/IP networks.

The project timelines will vary from one month to as long as one year based on customer needs. There will be some travel involved with this position.

Some of the most important skill sets to have are .Net, C#, and SQL.
