Job Listing: Protocol & Events Management Planner

This is a contract position providing direct on-site customer conference, meeting and event management support to MDA’s Protocol/Event Management team. This position is one of four protocol and event management staff who report to the MDA Deputy Chief of Protocol based in Huntsville, Alabama and who are under the overall supervision of the HLA program manager for this contract. Responsibilities/Duties/Functions/Tasks The contractor will provide those services necessary to MDA in order to support management of communications through conferences, executive and programmatic meetings, protocol, and distinguished visitor events.

Required Skills

The selected individual must possess an active secret clearance and must be available for occasional travel to support other MDA protocol activities in the National Capitol Region, Dahlgren VA, Vandenberg AFB, CA, Ft. Greeley, AK and Colorado Springs, CO as required.
This position requires at least one year experience with military protocol, policies and procedures.
Desired qualifications also include BA/BS degree and certification/s pertaining to protocol and event management.
