Job Listing: Ruggedized Computer Engineer

Aerotek is currently seeking a Ruggedized Computer Engineer for a direct placement opportunity with a rapidly expanding firm based in Chantilly, VA.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

1. Analysis, design, and development of computer hardware (server technology).

2. Explore modifications to existing configurations and designs.

3. Develop high performance computer configurations.

4. Working with vendors to determine new components to be installed into products.

5. Modification of existing high performance computing (HPC) products and serve systems designs.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

1. BS in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Related Discipline.

2. AutoCAD Lite & Linux experience.

3. 6+ Years of Experience working in multiple computing platforms.

4. In depth understanding of CPU components (Ex. PCI cards, PCIX, NIC, RAID cards)

5. Candidate must be able to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance if necessary, and is seeking to make $80-$90K annually.
