Job Listing: Construction Safety Manager

large Heavy Civil Contractor servicing the Tucson, AZ area is currently seeking a Safety Specialist. We are seeking candidates who are interested in a permanent Construction Safety Manager position. OSHA 10 and 500 certifications

Requirements:
Construction Experience, specifically
Fall Protection
Lockout/Tagout
Scaffolding
Ladder Safety
Confined Spaces

Education & Work Experience Guidelines:
-High school diploma/GED equivalency; AND
-Four (4)+ years’ safety experience in the construction industry; AND
-First Aid/CPR Certified; AND
-OSHA 10 Hour; AND
-OSHA 500


The Safety Coordinator will be the on site construction safety manager for a Heavy Civil project. Duties will include:

Part of the Management team
Training, certifying and advising employees on unsafe/safe practices
Maintaining safety records
Working directly with project manager
