Description:
Responsible for coordinating with project leaders and management on developing project plans, establishing timelines and deliverables.
Responsible for allocation and management of resources to projects and ongoing assessment of departmental resource requirements.
Developing of new technology platforms and evaluating external technology platforms for suitability and incorporation into existing platforms

Skills:
M.S. of Ph.D. in the area of molecular biology, genetics, microbiology or related area.
Extensive experience in the area of directed evolution, site-specific mutagenesis, recombinant DNA including bacterial, yeast and phage systems, and protein expression.
Senior level scientist to lead in the fermentation group.
Proven project and personnel management skills and ability to work within a team environment to establish timelines, milestones and deliverables.
A proven track record mentoring and training junior scientists.
Either eight years of relevant job experience with an MS, or at least five
