Job Listing: CAD IT Manager

Boston-based Architectural Design firm is seeking and CAD IT Manager to join their team. This firm offering comprehensive design services including feasibility studies, programming, master planning, architectural design, interior design and landscape architecture enjoys an outstanding international reputation for excellence in design and project management. Project type includes Institutional,Civic (courthouses, federal), and some commercial projects. Project Focus in sustainable buildings and design is a staple of this firm as they aim to build buildings to withstand many years.

Job Requirements/Job Description CAD IT Manager:

- 5-6+ years AutoCAD experience (if very senior, maybe come in at Sr Leadership in office)
- Degree not critical - Can come from engineering, architecture or IT background
- Oversee all CAD machinery in office –technical health, software repairs and updates
- The firm has a consultant come 1 day / week to upkeep servers the CAD IT Manager wouldn’t be responsible for that
- Know how to build and repair a computer
- Familiar with AutoCAD ADT 2006, 3D Viz, SketchUp
- Upkeep CAD library and standards – ideally have this person come and implement a new set – don’t have a comprehensive set now
