REQUIRED: Candidate must be coming from a SW, Data Management, or SAN/NAS industry. Degree is absolutely required. Must have previous experience with multiple reports.


This position requires an individual with persistence and follow-through; with the ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions, and communicate effectively with minimal supervision.

The Director of Operations is responsible for the coordination of the Implementation, Production, and Support teams to successfully deliver the company's products and services. This position requires an individual who is highly organized and results-driven having the ability to effectively manage projects both directly and through subordinates. This is a *hands-on position* requiring the ability to supervise personnel, as well as concurrently, personally assist in physical deployment, trouble-shooting, direct support of customers, and the support other company functional groups. This individual is responsible for the day-to-day operations and the successful delivery of quality services meeting or exceeding internal and external customer expectations.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Oversees and directs the efforts of multiple project teams in the daily operations to ensure performance standards are met/client and project commitments adhered to.
Directs and monitors P&L responsibility for one or more clients/projects; oversees budget development and cost estimates and directs the project/contract demands consistent with budget projections.
Directs and oversees resources allocation efforts and space/facility planning efforts to meet client/project needs.
Directs and oversees workflow and assignments to consistently achieve efficient/cost effective operations;
Continuous improvement - ensures process, program, and/or service improvements to meet quality standards.
Advises staff members in resolving problems and issues that arise with internal and external customers.
Ultimately delivery responsibility for specific tasks or projects requiring coordination, instruction, and direct oversight of the work of others.

Supervisory Responsibilities:
This management position requires advanced technical, communication, and management skills combined with comprehensive experience in overall administration/management of Operations functions, concepts and practices.
Directly responsible for supervising the Day-to-Day Operations and delivery of services.
Responsible for assisting the COO in the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of Company-wide Operations
Carries out supervisory responsibilities, as assigned, in accordance with the organization's policies, procedures, and applicable laws.
Responsibilities may include interviewing, hiring recommendations, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance or partners and addressing complaints and resolving problems.
The ability to effectively lead and manage teams, including resource allocation and project scheduling.


Required Skills

3-5 Years commensurate experience managing technical operations teams
Excellent written and verbal communications skills
Client Delivery, Implementation Project Management experience
Understanding of ASP delivered Services and Project Management
Experience managing a distributed resource base (technology and people)
Ability to forecast needs of the business and recommend technology and resources to accomplish goals

Education: A related Bachelors Degree; Advanced degree/PMI a Plus
