Job Listing: Senior Research Physicist
The Free Electron Laser program within the Special Projects Office of Advance Technology Development is looking for senior, experienced engineers and scientists to support bid and proposal activity.
Specialists are needed in the following areas –
1) Senior Research Physicist – Provides conceptual and engineering designs of linear accelerators and modeling and simulation of accelerator performance.
Required Skills
Experience in application of accelerator design codes including Parmela - distributed by the Los Alamos code group (LAACG) (1981 to 2003), Modified TRACE3D for Windows - distributed by LAACG (1998 to 2003), and Poisson/Superfish codes - distributed by LAACG (1992 to 2003).
Advanced degree a plus
This is a 3-6 month contract, rate is negotiable due to high expectations and skills needed. Please call for more information.
