This is a full-time term position not-to-exceed 13 months to 4 years.  The position is duty stationed in Mammoth Hot Springs.

Major Duties

This position is located in the Division of Administration, Branch of Technology Services.   Incumbent monitors and processes all park telephone bills, tracks new telephone service requests, programs cell phones, and reports cell phone problems to the appropriate cellular suppliers.  Performs administration functions associated with more than 250 NPS cellular telephone accounts.  Answers telephone and greets office visitors. Refers caller to appropriate telecommunications employee or takes message. Answers questions on general information within the ordinary working knowledge of the employee for which the answers are available and may be readily found in work logs, office files, computer databases, etc.  Types a variety of office correspondence, including reports, proposals, summaries, etc.  Maintains Telecommunications Shop computer databases and office file systems.  Prepares and tracks on work logs, time sheets, material/supply requisitions, etc.  Reviews incoming correspondence in the Telecommunications Office. Screens what can be handled personally, delivers other mail to appropriate employees.
