1. GS-11: EXPERIENCE: Do you possess one (1) full year of specialized experience which equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the Electronics Technician GS-11 position? To be creditable, this experience must have been equivalent to at least the GS-10 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized experience includes: performs preventative maintenance and repairs on a wide variety of medical, electronic, and imaging equipment of high complexity; plans and performs scheduled and unscheduled (emergency) service on medical devices to ensure that instruments were working properly, calibrated properly and in compliance with all applicable codes and standards; demonstrates thorough knowledge of biomedical technology and its applications to sophisticated medical imaging equipment including knowledge of advanced analog and digital electronics; and writes clear and concise reports of both a technical and non-technical nature. (Evidence of this specialized experience must be supported by detailed documentation of like duties performed in positions held on your resume or OF-612. KSA #1- KNOWLEDGE OF BIOMEDICAL TECHNOLOGY AND ITS APPLICATION TO SOPHISTICATED MEDICAL EQUIPMENT, INCLUDING KNOWLEDGE OF ADVANCED ANALOG AND DIGITAL ELECTRONICS, FAMILIARITY WITH ELECTRONIC TEST INSTRUMENTS, BIOMEDICAL DEVICE CALIBRATION GEAR, AND ELECTRICAL SAFETY ANALYZERS
