A vacancy exists for a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Room.
**12 hour Shift 1130am-12mn **
**8 hour shift 330pm-12mn **
Major Duties
-As a staff member within the emergency room, the staff nurse must be able to prioritize the patient's condition according to the patient's medical needs. -These needs are determined based on the patient's subjective data and a physical assessment. -Staff nurses take steps to stabilize a patient's condition through nursing interventions, as well as, following directions ordered by the providers. -Evaluations in the provision of care are ongoing to ensure quality care is provided at all times. -Staff nurses must be able to operate, maintain, evaluate, organize, and stock appropriate equipment and medication within the emergency room setting. An interdisciplinary approach is utilized to ensure patient and documentation processes are provided and completed in an efficient and effective manner to enhance communication and turnover in patient census. -Staff nurses must continually educate and maintain proficiency in emergency care.

Required Skills
Qualifications
Registered Nurse with a minimum of 2 years of successful nurse
practice
ER and/or recent Critical Care experience preferred.
Excellent assessment/triage skills.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Excellent communications skills both written and verbal.
ACLS Certified or willing to obtain ASAP
BLS Certified
Ability to work effectively with all levels of healthcare
providers, patients, and families.
Commitment to the delivery of outstanding healthcare.
You must be a U.S. citizen to qualify for this position.
Applicants for this position must pass a pre-employment medical examination.
Prior to appointment, the person selected for this position must be determined physically fit by an authorized government physician to perform strenuous and physically demanding duties; and also pass a medical examination (which includes vision, hearing, cardiovascular, and mobility of extremities) given by an authorized government physician.

Salary Range: 47,801.00 - 90,951.00 USD per yearDetermined by education and experience
