Job Listing: Manufacturing Engineer - 5

Responsibilities:

This includes, but is not limited to the following, assist in technical support of product fabrication, provide adequate support to ensure timely closure of technical issues, support Quality initiatives to implement proper cause and corrective action, maintain contact with this supplier’s subtier houses and communicate technical needs to Dallas home base, coordinate design issues with Engineering, manage Supplier Information Requests (SIR's) and drive to closure, provide necessary status to product field support team, assist other locations and Dallas as required, attend staff and shortage meetings as required, prepare and submit weekly updates to Supplier Development Progress package that will be used internally and to support other internal reviews.

Normal work week will be Monday through Friday first shift, but will require evening and weekend support as required to maintain program schedule requirements.

This position may require 25-50% travel.



Required Skills

Qualifications:

Bachelors Degree or equivalent and ten years of related work experience
Experience in composite part fabrication, metals fabrication and/or assembly in aircraft industry
Familiar with Quality Systems and requirements
Experience with CATIA v5 is preferred
Previous experience in off-site support is preferred
Must be available for travel up to 50% as need arises
