Job Listing: Loss Mitigation Collector

Volt is looking for a GREAT candidate to work a temp to hire role with a nationwide provider of short term, interim financing to professional real estate investors and renovators. These loans can be used for the acquisition, rehabilitation and resale of residential, detached single family properties.

This position requires customer contact to determine a permanent workout plan which will bring customer accounts to a permanent resolution and conclusion. Responsibilities include but not limited to, calling real estate investors for payments, offering workout solutions, short sale resolutions, assisting in non-owner occupied refinances, skip tracing, pursuing deficiency judgments and other workouts solutions.

Required Skills

Individual must be a self starter and have knowledge of the construction lending business. Individual must also be goal orientated and have at least three to five years collection and or loss mitigation experience in real estate collections.

Skill sets required: construction lending knowledge, credit bureau analysis, skip tracing, knowledge of appraisals and broker price opinions, inspection draws, real estate contract knowledge, ability to read and analyze a HUD-1 and pay histories. Excellent oral and written communication skills required. Previous consumer finance experience a plus. College degree preferred, but high school diploma required.
