Our client is one of the nation's 100 largest public accounting firms, and the largest independent accounting and advisory services firm in the Southeast. Since 1955 we've been offering traditional audit and tax services and a wide range of specialized advisory services. Our experience covers businesses in the public and private sectors, governmental entities, local municipalities and not-for-profit organizations.

We are seeking a full-time Copywriter to join our Marketing Department.

The copywriter is a creative position that involves planning, research and original development of marketing copy. You will develop copy for a variety of internal and external firm communications, and for a similar variety of communications on behalf of Company Design clients. Additionally, this position is responsible for creating, revising, editing, fact-checking, obtaining approvals for and proofreading all internal and external copy. All of this will require a high level of creativity, accuracy, excellent communication skills and conceptual ability.

Responsibilities
? Provide copy for a variety of marketing and communications vehicles, including the firm newsletter, Web site, brochures, press releases, speeches, proposals, articles and print/electronic advertisements, and similar marketing and communications vehicles on behalf of Company Design clients.
? Ensure consistency of message across multiple marketing and communications vehicles.
? Meet with departments and clients, as appropriate, to gather information and ensure project objectives and deliverables are understood.
? Collaborate with creative team to determine the conceptual and copy direction of all initiatives and to ensure consistency with the firm?s marketing goals.
? Work with creative team to ensure copy tone and style are consistent with and complement visual tone and style.
? Maintain high standards of copywriting and exercise quality control on all copy, including obtaining necessary approvals, fact-checking and keeping accurate and appropriate backup.
? Assist in other writing assignments as requested.
? Research and collect content, and rewrite/edit content where required.

Requirements
? Degree in English, journalism, communications or a related field-Preferred
? Minimum 3year?s experience as a copywriter, with exposure to writing print promotional materials, Web content, articles and copy to support advertising and marketing initiatives.
? Expert written and verbal communications skills, with strong editing and proofreading abilities.
? Ability to write compelling messages in a range of voices and styles for varied projects with diverse audiences.
? Creativity, with strong visualization and organizational skills.
? Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively as a member of a team.
? Ability to prioritize projects, work within short time frames and meet deadlines.
