Job Listing: Software Engineer III - Permanent

TEKsystems had teamed up with one of our premiere clients in the Corvallis area for a very exciting opportunity. Our client is looking for Senior Software Engineers to join their development team. Technical professionals will be working on windows based applications.

Developers will participate in a fast paced enterprise level development environment. They will provide technical expertise to produce design specifications from informal requests or written specifications. Use modern development tools and languages to design, create, modify or maintain accounting systems and related software . Languages may include C++, C#, or other mainstream development languages. Provide technical leadership to engineering team members. This individual will be strictly developing in Microsoft technologies C++ and C# on a Windows platform. This individual is a systems developer that must have Object Orientated programming experience to develop thick client applications for communication and not web pages. Agile environment with 4- 6 week sprints. This individual must also be very team-orientated and motivated. They must want to help team-mates and take accountability as they are working in a minimal supervised environment. Other duties as assigned.

Technical Qualifications:
- BSCS/BSCS degree or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 8 years programming experience, of which 4 years as programmer/analyst are required.
- Object Orientated Programming experience.
- Must understand design templates
- Agile development experience is nice to have
- UI and MSC experience
- Experience handling multi-threading, encryption, and constant data and network communication.
- Candidates should have strong, demonstrable language and development skills and experience with modern development tools and platforms.
- Candidates should have proven experience with C++ / C#, .NET and experience with WPF, WCF, TSQL and SQL Server highly desirable .
- Must be at least age 21.
- Occasional travel required. Must have a valid state driver’s license and clean driving record
- Win 32, STL, ATL, WTL, WCF, and WPF are nice to have
