Job Listing: Wildlife Biologist

A leading fast-paced environmental consulting firm in San Diego, has an opportunity for a General Biologist. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Biology or related area, and a minimum of 2 years experience.

Must have knowledge of local habitats and sensitive plant and animal species. Must have good understanding of local, state, and federal regulations pertaining to biological resources.

This candidate will be responsible for:

- Conducting field surveys
- Preparing technical reports
- Preparing biological analysis for environmental documents

Candidates must have at least one of the following permits:

Gnatcatcher, Quino Checkerspot butterfly, Vernal Pool Branchiopods, Southwest willow flycatcher, Stephens kangaroo rat, San Bernardino kangaroo rat, pacific pocket mouse, nest monitoring for gnatcatcher and/or least Bell's vireo, authorized biologist for desert tortoise.

    Rate: $40,000 to $70,000 per Year
