Job Listing: Petroleum Engineer

Aerotek is currently hiring a Petroleum Engineer for our client in the Pittsburgh, PA Area. A job description are duties are listed below:

Responsibilities:

- The candidate will be involved in assessment procedures for an upstream natural gas company for exploration and extraction of natural gas in the Appalachian Basin.

-Serves as a subject matter expert on assessment and operational issues.

- 5 – 10 + Experience in the natural gas/oil & gas / petroleum industry is a must.

- Assist in alterations to development to improve quality of operations and/or procedures.


REQUIREMENTS:

-Bachelor's degree in engineering (petroleum preferred).

-At least five years of field or related experience in Natural Gas Exploration i.e. coal-bed methane / shale

-Professional Engineer license (PE) preferred.

    Rate: $90,000 to $120,000 per Year
