Job Listing: Metallurgist

RESPONSIBLE FOR THE FOLLOWING:

- Provide technical support for companies marketing/sales initiatives
- Provide advice/recommendations and resolutions to customer claims
- Conduct market analysis to identify high potential target customers
- Develop sales forecasts and marketing tactics for areas of responsibility
- Manage targeted market support programs (i.e. inventory, contracted processing/services, develop marketing literature)
- Respond to Customer inquiries and requests for information and service
- Direct account responsibility for a specific group of Customers
- Perform other duties as required
- Extensive local travel involved (up to 90% day travel up to a 250 mile radius of New Castle,PA)

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

- B.S. in Metallurgical/Materials Engineering preferred
- Background/experience in tool steel applications preferred
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent problem solving and listening skills are essential
- Must be proactive and results oriented with a strong desire to succeed
- Ability to work independently
- Requires extensive travel on occasion
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft programs
