Job Listing: Admissions Coordinator

Our client a global pharmacy benefit management corporation is looking for qualified candidates who have at least TWO years of experience in a health related field verifying third party benefits for Admission Coordinator openings. The position will be responsible for conducting a detailed benefit and eligibility verification of insurance benefits for plan participants. This position is responsible to understanding the different plan and therapy requirements for processing their referrals. Responsible for validating the demographic and reimbursement information on all Specialty customers in a database prior to the initiation of therapy. They will adjudicate POS/Retail billings, relate financial obligations to the customer, and identify to the organization when a new customer is brought on service.

EXPERIENCE:

Must have the ability to communicate with internal and external customers including physician offices or treatment centers along with various departments within the company. Must be able to deal with difficult customers and have the ability to accurately understand and communicate medical information over the telephone.
