Senior Mechanical Engineer - Manufacturing Catia and/or AutoCAD, Military Specs
If you have knowledge of assembly of heavy trucking this is a great opportunity! This position provides an opportunity for an experienced Mechanical Engineer to impact the manufacturing processes for a rugged military truck. It will involve working in both plant and office environments with Line Assemblers and Engineering staff.
You will use your knowledge base in assembly processes and project management skills to create the most efficient line possible. Some of the job responsibilities include:
Follow tryout and pre-series vehicle builds
Provide feedback for root-cause analysis and problems resolution support
Use concurrent engineering to identify production related problems before production startup
Manage production equipment, systems design and procurement including:
Justification
Budget preparation
Facilities layouts
Installation
Tryout
Training
Provide advanced engineering expertise and guidance on the specification, acquisition and installation of equipment to comply with all government and safety regulations
Evaluate current assembly processes and assess capital investment plans for future production requirements
Apply project management skills and work closely with plants, equipment suppliers, and contractors to coordinate projects to completion

Required Skills
Required Skills for this Senior Mechanical Engineer position include the following:
Minimum2 years of Manufacturing Engineering experience
Knowledge of machinery and equipment used to assemble heavy trucks
Good written and verbal skills
Able to use a PC using Microsoft programs
Knowledge of Military specs
Catia or AutoCAD experience
Education requirements: BS in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial or a related technical Engineering degree
