Production Supervisor/Coach
A worldwide leader in providing innovative plumbing products for the kitchen and bath is looking to hire a Production Supervisor/Coach to supervise a team.
Duties and Responsibilities:

Plan and assign work within assigned Focused Factory, utilizing labor, equipment, material, schedule and layout to produce a product at minimal cost consistent with acceptable quality standards.
Implement and maintain team efforts that support Our Client's Vision, Mission and Goal objectives.
Provide effective associate relations within the team by ensuring that practices are fair and consistent, and follow the Company's Operating Philosophy.
Ensure that safe working conditions and good housekeeping are maintained while meeting quality and cost requirements. Train and engage associates in improving safety practices.
Interpret and enforce company policies, rules and safety regulations.
Recommend and initiate personnel actions, such as:

Promotions
Transfers
Terminations
Pay Increases
Counseling
Disciplinary Measures

Maintain time and production records. Develop tracking mechanisms as required.
Identify and implement productivity improvements in assigned Focused Factory.
Involve associates in finding and eliminating waste.
Recommend measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, quality of product, changes in work conditions, safety and use of equipment to increase efficiency of department and team.
Train associates to perform multiple standardized work combinations to meet changing demands and maintain equipment and processes at the desired process control levels.
Assess associate performance and conduct performance reviews to maximize associate potential.
