Production/Process/Test Operator Level 2
6 Month Contract Position - Swing Shift, Mon - Fri Training Provided During Day Shift
This American Information Technology corporation is seeking a Production / Process / Test Operator to help with the following tasks and responsibilities:
Basic manufacture, assembly, installation or processing of components
Subsystems or systems
Operation of basic hand tools and assigned production and manufacturing machinery
Compile data for reports
Assist with daily collection of production statistics
Schedule work for designated areas of operation
Perform routine operating maintenance on one or more types of equipment
Assist new employees
Work with multiple departments, both internal and possibly external to the company
Perform complex, multi-processes in fabrication, assembly, or test and repair operations in the manufacturing of component parts, subassemblies, or final product
Setup, operate and maintain process equipment using standard or generally well-known operating procedures
Maintain documentation for process control using quality control methods
Use database process information to monitor processes against control parameters and institutes corrective action as required

This is an estimated 6 month contract position through Volt Technical Resources, a member of the Volt family of companies and a publicly traded, nationally recognized leader in providing staffing and information services. Required Skills
Required Skills for this Production/Process/Test Operator position include the following:
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs
Level 9I Production and Process Operator position involves setup and operation of simple (not complex) equipment or production processes
