Continuous Improvement Engineer

This company manufacturers industrial heating, furnaces, etc and is located in New Columbia, which is about an hour North of Harrisburg and 30 minutes South of Williamsport. This is a direct hire position.

Looking for a degreed engineer. BS in Industrial Engineering, Mfg engineer, Mech Engineering, etc. Must have experience working in a LEAN Mfg environment. This facility has been using LEAN principles for about a year and a half, and they currently have 1 engineer on staff. We are looking at about 1-5 years of experience in a LEAN mfg facility ideally. Anybody from an assembly manufacturing plant would fit in, electronics industry would help but not required. This candidate will report directly to newly promoted LEAN expert and will consult with him to see what types of process improvements need to be made to assembly and manufacturing areas. No direct reports to this position. Six Sigma Green Belt would be nice, but not required. LEAN (Continuous Improvement) mfg principles are the KEY REQUIREMENTS!
