Biologist II

A leading biotechnology company in the St. Louis area has an immediate opening for a Biologist II

This person will perform standard molecular biology techniques to assist in a seasonal project. This project is scheduled to last 6 months with no possibility of permanent employment

Major Job Duties:
*Perform a variety of tasks to accomplish established goals
*Interact with other members of the group to achieve assigned tasks
*Perform standard molecular biology techniques

Job Requirements and Qualifications:
*Bachelor's Degree in Molecular Biology, Biology, or a related science
*1-2 years of experience using standard molecular biology techniques
*Experience with RNA handling
*Familiarity with Microsoft Word and Excel
*Strong attention to detail
*Ability to work in a teamwork environment

Standard working week is M-F, with daytime working hours. Very little overtime expected, if any.
